how do i clean a knife? a hunting knife? its pretty old and dirty. i wanna sell it. any tips?

found a knife in the attic. its about 9 inches long in total, it opens up, its a bit slow and it feels old, but i want to clean it and sell it. What can i clean it with to improve its condition?
